Bachelor of Interactive Entertainment (Major in Animation)
During the Qantm College Bachelor of Interactive Entertainment (with a Major in Animation), students will undertake advanced courses in 3D modelling, texturing, lighting and animation for games; animation and special effects for film and television; script writing, character development and animation for virtual environments. In addition to these areas of practical and creative study, students also undertake units essential to the commercial functions of the animation industry including communications design, project management, business and copyright law.
Bachelor of Interactive Entertainment (Major in Games Design)
The Qantm Colllege Bachelor of Interactive Entertainment (with a Major in Games Design), developed with the help of local industry, has been devised to give our students essential insight into all the areas critical to becoming leaders in the games design industry. Students will compliment design theory with extensive practical work in the areas of art, scripting, testing, prototyping and serious game development.
Bachelor of Interactive Entertainment (Major in Games Programming)
The Qantm College Bachelor of Interactive Entertainment (with a Major in Games Programming) focuses on specific areas are critical to developing knowledge and skills in games programming for interactive entertainment. Students of the Major in Games Programming learn C++ programming, work with mathematical functions and artificial intelligence to design and program games for a variety of devices.
Bachelor of Creative Media (Major in Graphic Design)
Students undertaking this program will be working in a studio based environment where they will apply their knowledge and skills in the design and development of a range of graphic design projects. The program covers design communication, typography, page layout, computer illustration, reprographics, cartooning, image manipulation, web design and 2D animation. The main objective of this program is to create a high level of design competency in print and screen based software.
Bachelor of Creative Media (Major in Interactive Media)
Students undertaking this program of study will learn to design and develop interactive content for a range of platforms including the internet, mobile phones, CD-Rom, DVD and touch-screen. Key features of the course include multimedia development, graphic design, interface design, and interaction design for the internet and broadcast media. Scriptwriting, storyboarding, 2D and 3D animation, video and sound editing, development and programming also form part of the course.
